Story County Free Wireless is the idea of MarkKassis, a local business man. It appears to have started in early August 2005. Their idea is to create a free (i.e. gratis) WirelessMeshNetwork in the Main Street district. The AmesCommunityNetwork will combine our efforts for WireLess in Ames.
